The goals of the Palestinian Network for Early Childhood Development:

The Palestinian Network for Early Childhood aims to put the issue of early childhood on the national agenda and push for the development of national early childhood programs in line with global development goals and advanced theories and frameworks in this field, as well as with the National Strategic Plan for Early Childhood.

The peculiarity of Early Childhood Development in Palestinian: Combining Developmental and Humanitarian Interventions

As the Palestinian child is born and lives under the Israeli occupation and he/she and his/her family have been affected since his inception by the repercussions of his unjust policies. Palestinian children have also witnessed war and conflict and experienced horrific violence, loss, demolition of homes and military checkpoints. Many of them, especially in the Gaza Strip, were forced to leave their homes, schools and communities to find shelter in shelters due to the destruction of their homes or temporary displacement for fear of wars, killing and destruction, which compounded the severity of the challenges they live in, which could change the way they build their minds, their psychological stability, and even their bodies.

This increases the consequences for poor learning outcomes, reduced economic gains, increased disease prevalence and premature death Which affects not only the lives of children, but also the prosperity, well-being and stability of future generations in general.

In order to meet the needs of children in Palestine and respond to these complex and bitter determinants, the Palestinian Network for Early Childhood will work to achieve its goals within the integration of comprehensive, multi-dimensional and multi-sectoral development interventions for early childhood with humanitarian interventions sensitive to the political situation and the prevailing emergency situation and adopting programmatic models that save these children and improve their human conditions stability of their psychological state and development, and meeting their needs and concerns in all its aspects.

As the Palestinian Network will remain keen to put its emergency and humanitarian inputs within the development programs to allow a great deal of intermarriage and cohesion between the humanitarian and development programs in a manner that serves early childhood on the developmental and humanitarian levels, and on both the immediate and long-term levels.
